RECORDS RELEASE REQUEST

Fire Incident Reports are written records documenting that MCFPD personnel have responded to a call. There are two types of incident reports: Fire and Medical. Fire reports are public records. However, medical reports can only be released to the patient or individuals the patient designates with proper documentation. Incident reports will be released within 30 days of request.

As per NRS Chapter 450 B, reports and other records documenting fires, emergency medical incidents, and fire-related investigations will be retained for six (6) years from the date of the incident.
